COVID-19 POLICY

  • My priority is to keep you as safe as possible and prior to opening the new clinic a number of preventative measures have been implemented which I would like to make you aware of.

  • During this time away from clinic practice, I have completed numerous Infection, Prevention and Control courses to ensure I continue to deliver treatments at the highest of standards, however I have now introduced additional measures in response to COVID-19.

  • All of these procedures have been introduced for your safety. I will continue to take advice from the Government and the NHS regarding safe practice and will amend them as necessary.

  • Thanks you for your understanding

Booking Appointments

  • Visiting Enliven Skin Care is strictly by appointment only. Please ensure you have an appointment prior to coming to the clinic. This includes collection of any products or orders. Please do not 'pop in' without prior arrangements.

  • If I feel ill or have symptoms of COVlD-19, I will self-isolate immediately and not come into the clinic. This may mean that I have to cancel your appointment at short notice. I appreciate that this could be inconvenient but it will be done entirely for your own safety. If your appointment is cancelled I will reschedule as quickly as possible.

  • If you or anyone within your household have recently travelled to anywhere in the world, please allow 14 clear days before attending an appointment.

  • If you or any of the people you live with feel ill or display any symptoms of COVlD-19 - a high temperature, continuous cough, loss or change in taste of smell for any reason - please advise me as soon as possible and do not come to the clinic for your appointment. Instead please call the number on your appointment confirmation email to re-arrange your appointment. Alternatively please email sarah@enlivenskincare.co.uk

  • The cancellation policy will be slightly relaxed during this time and an additional appointment will be offered.

Visiting the Clinic

  • Prior to your appointment you will be sent an additional COVID-19 form to complete. Please ensure this is returned as quickly as possible to avoid your booking from being cancelled.

  • For your safety and to maintain social distancing as much as possible, please attend your appointments as close to the appointment time as possible. Please do not turn up early for appointments as this may mean that you come into contact with other clients who are just leaving or arrive during the clean down process.

  • If you are early, please wait in your car or outside.

  • If you are taking public transport, please adhere to the government directive of wearing a mask.

  • I will greet you at the main entrance and ensure all external door handles are disinfected before you enter the building.

  • I am not the only business within Kings House and you may come into contact with other tenants.

  • The frequency of cleaning in the clinic has been increased including making sure that common surfaces, toilets door handles etc. are wiped clean using disinfectant products between each client arriving. All tools and equipment will be disinfected or sterilised or disposed of in line with our current protocols.

  • You will be given disposable shoe covers to place over your shoes upon entrance to the treatment room.

  • You will have access to soap and hot water to wash your hands as soon as you enter the building and there will also be a hand sanitiser attached to the wall as you enter the clinic.

  • Please arrive to your appointment alone. Guests or children will not be permitted into the clinic.

  • Additional PPE will be required for myself and clients.

  • The current government guidelines state that face coverings are mandatory other than where necessary to remove for treatments. This means you are required to wear a face mask, ensuring it fully covers your nose and mouth, before entering the clinic and should not be removed until you leave. Face coverings may be removed where necessary for treatment.

  • If you are unable to get a face mask please let me know prior to your appointment. I will have spare stock, however due to current shortages so much of this will be reserved for myself to carry out appointments.

  • Please do not bring food into the clinic and arrive with minimal items. Cold beverages are still available but will served in single-use disposal cups. If you prefer you are welcome to bring your own bottle of water.

  • Consultations will continue to operate online with skin tests being posted out unless this is not possible in certain circumstances, in which case an appointment will be made for you.

  • 'Keeping Clients Safe' hand sanister (75% alcohol) is available for purchase at £2.50 for 60ml.

Treatments

  • I have carried out a full risk assessment on all treatments and I am confident that I can continue to provide these safely. However you may notice a delay in some treatments returning until I am confident the risks remain minimal.

  • The treatment room is cleaned thoroughly after every appointment. I have built in dedicated 30 minute cleaning blocks after each client.

  • Treatment plans can be signed off on the iPad using a gifted stylus, this will be yours to keep and conveniently attaches to your keys, it would be appreciated if you can bring it with you for future appointments.

During your treatment

  • I understand the importance of hand hygiene and I will ensure that hands are washed in according with NHS recommendations before the start of your treatment.

  • I will try to make your treatment as safe, comfortable and enjoyable as possible. If you have any concerns about your treatments please let me know as soon as possible.

  • I will have suitable PPE at all times and follow strict guidelines on minimising any chances of cross infection. This includes wearing a new apron, pair of gloves, mask and face shield (subject to government guidelines).

  • For certain facial/body treatments disposable couch roll and a clean towel is used for each client. Blankets that are not single-use have been removed.

  • The treatment couch is cleaned and disinfected between each client.

  • The bathroom will still be available for use - if you do use it please let me know immediately so that it can be cleaned.

  • Please do not touch any retail items or products on display, I will talk you through any aftercare suggestions.

After the treatment

  • I would prefer to avoid the handling of cash, however there will be a money steriliser in the clinic. You have the option of paying in full for your treatment at the time of booking or up to 24 hours prior to your appointment.

  • Contactless payments available for sales up to £45, please be reassured that our card machine is thoroughly disinfected and cleaned after each use.

  • Enliven Elite members and those on a Direct Debit scheme that have already paid in advance for treatment will not be affected by these changes.

  • Any aftercare bags will be put together safely prior to your appointment and available for you to collect at the end of you treatment.

After your appointment

  •  If you feel unwell, develop a temperature, continuous cough, lose or experience changes in your taste of smell for any reason within 14 days of your appointment, please inform us immediately by contacting the number on your appointment confirmation. Alternatively, you can email sarah@enlivenskincare.co.uk

  • PLEASE NOTE: We will do everything in our power to keep you safe when visiting Enliven Skin Care, we expect the same courtesy from you. We reserve the right to seek legal action against any individuals who fail to notify us of their COVID-19 symptoms or illness.
